Their Food & Freezer bags are made from a biodegradable plant-based material, meaning that they break down completely after use without releasing any microplastics (which are polluting our oceans and are a potential threat to aquatic life). So, even though these bags are single use, they have a much smaller impact on the environment than standard plastic freezer bags.

Unlike traditional plastic freezer bags, BioBag’s food & freezer bags will not last forever (which, of course, is part of the problem with the plastic ones).
